Llangollen overview

Llangollen Travel Guide
Llangollen is an ancient market town in the Welsh northeast and is a fun base for the adventurist. It has risen to one of the most popular tourist draws in this region of Wales and has a fine town centre that is easy to explore on foot and is great for shopping. First and foremost is a decent collection of historic sites in Llangollen, including that of Dinas Bran Castle, which imposes itself on the town and the nearby Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. The town is also famed for its yearly music festival, the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod; while nearby activities include hiking, rock climbing, and kayaking. Llangollen is a little bit off the beaten path and is miles from the nearest airport, but what scenic Welsh town isn’t?
