Cardiff overview

Wales’ capital and number one city presides in the south of the small country just across from the mouth of the River Severn and England. The city is on Cardiff Bay, with the River Taff flowing through it, and is easily accessed owing to its international airport, rail terminus and major motorways coming in from England. Although Cardiff was considered a rough clime, it has really pulled itself out of the quagmire of late and, today, is one of pleasant pedestrianised shopping areas in the city centre and an array of well kept historical structures. Cardiff is fun in the summer but a bit grey and wet in the winter like the majority of Wales.
